Southern boogie rockers ZZ Top formed in Texas in 1969, but it was the MTV era in the 80s that saw them rocket to global success with numerous awards, big tours and induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked ZZ Top lead guitarist Billy Gibbons the 32nd greatest guitarist of all time.
